William Hill wanted to speed up its already fast time to market to achieve greater competitive differentiation whilst observing stringent compliance requirements. It implemented VMware hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) powered by VMware vSAN and VMware vSphere to deliver secure shared storage. This runs on-premise at its data center in Leeds and around 80% of William Hill’s applications now run on this cloud.
